About Angleton Danbury Hospital District

Established in 1967, the Angleton-Danbury Hospital District was created to provide healthcare services to the residents of an area that generally includes the communities of Angleton, Danbury, and Rosharon.  For over five decades, we have been dedicated to ensuring that the community has access to quality medical care close to home.

 

Our hospital district was created through an act of the Texas legislature following a request by local residents who recognized the importance of having a local healthcare facility that could serve the diverse needs of their growing population. Since our establishment, we have been committed to evolving and expanding our services to meet the changing demands of healthcare, while always staying true to our original mission.

 

At Angleton Danbury Hospital District, we believe in the power of community-driven healthcare. Governed by an elected board of directors, we work to ensure that a broad spectrum of quality healthcare is available close to home.  

 

Early in the 2010’s, District leadership recognized the need and benefit of partnering with another healthcare organization.  In 2014 the District began a partnership with UTMB at Galveston for the provision of healthcare services to our residents.  Through this partnership, the District has been successful in improving and expanding the services offered to District residents.

 

We are proud of our history and remain dedicated to the health and well-being of residents of the Angleton-Danbury Hospital District.  Our commitment to improving the health of our residents remains at the heart of everything we do.
